Areas of Specialization
Dr. Stone specializes in oral and maxillofacial surgery to correct conditions of the mouth and surrounding facial structures, including the head, neck, and jaw. She also practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with a large focus on facial trauma surgery and corrective jaw surgery.
Education and Training
Seasoned by over 10 years of clinical experience in her field, and backed by solid academic training and credentials, Dr. Stone enjoys a high satisfaction rating from patients who credit her with providing excellent dental and medical treatment and aftercare.
Dr. Stone’s extensive surgical and medical training began with her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Bio-Molecular Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. She then went on to earn her D.D.S. degree, with honors in Oral Surgery, from the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry in Kansas City, MO.
Dr. Stone completed her internship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the UMKC School of Medicine–Truman Medical Centers, also in Kansas City. She then completed her residency at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where she served as Chief Resident for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Post-residency, Dr. Stone practice oral and maxillofacial surgery in Pennsylvania for three years prior to moving to Dallas and establishing Stone Surgical Arts. She is on staff at three local hospitals including Baylor Scott and White in Grapevine, Irving, and Methodist Health.
